We thought she had laid her eggs but it appears that day 37 and 38 the eggs ACTUALLY were laid! Greg saw the egg laid thru the binoculars - how amazing to witness this! That being said, the stance the female is exhibiting here is the same as Day 38 when he saw the actually egg being laid. According to research, the female hawk may lay an egg each day for 2-3 days. Gestation period is 33-35 days. Hence we are now labeling dates going forward as AE Day 1 (for 'after egg').
